Weekly Sports Schedules

Checklist for participation in WIAA sports:

  1. All athletes are required to have a WIAA Medical Eligibility Form (Spanish version) on file at school in order to start participating.  No other physicals can be accepted.  It MUST be signed by a doctor and parent, it must have the date of the exam, and have a checkmark showing that you are "Medically Eligible" to participate by the doctor.  This physical is typically valid for 2 school years. If it was submitted the previous school year, the athlete still has to submit the Alternate Year Physical Card which only needs to be signed by a parent.  Every athlete has to submit one of these two forms each year.
  2. Signed and dated Parent/Student Acknowledgement, Concussion, and Emergency Contact forms (these are the last 3 pages from the Parent Athlete Handbook)
  3. $30 yearly school sports fee paid to school secretary
  4. see the individual sports pages to see what equipment the athlete must have
All forms and the yearly sports fee are required in order to start participating.  THERE ARE NO EXCEPTIONS!  Forms can be printed or picked up at the front desk at Veritas or Tenor.  Completed forms should then be submitted to the front desk BEFORE the first day of practice.  It is recommended that over the summer months you call ahead to make sure someone is there at the front desk.

Other Policies/Expectations

Being an athlete on a team and representing your school is a privilege.  Conduct detrimental to the team will not be tolerated and may be grounds for removal from the team.
Athletes must also maintain a 2.0 GPA during the season and have no more than 1 U.  Grades from the previous grading period also effect eligibility for an upcoming season.
